Upper North level 
comprise of 15 Tables, featuring 
a total of 112 corbels.

This character seems to have the worries of the world to contend with
A faggot of wood bound with rope is repeated a number of time around the abbey. In ancient times it was highly valued as a source for heat, light and energy - as important as we value electricity today





This is a representative samples of the many geometric designs to be found 

This handsome male figure, with what appears to be a crown,  may be of royal lineage


A variation of an oft repeated corbel - with a head it its mouth

Variations of this musician corbel is found on many churches around the country

Possibly depicting a mule

Someone just prior to having his tongue cut out, or is it just a rude gesture?
